I have been referred to as "Captain Quasar", "Commander D" and many other less-savory names. My real interest in astronomy consists of observing with an emphasis on Lunar and Solar work, but I do enjoy all observational aspects as well.

 The equipment I use is limited to smaller aperture telescopes and binoculars, but I have also been fortunate to be able to use some rather unique equipment by the good graces of a friend and fellow amateur Dr. Fred Koch.
